Job Description:

Peter Pan Bus Lines is now searching for a motivated individual who is serious about safety to join our team as an entry level motorcoach mechanic.

Candidates with prior experience in diesel or fleet repair preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Familiar with industry standard tools and procedures for basic diagnostics and repair.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair based on standardized procedures.
  • Inspect equipment in detail for defects, damage potential component failure areas.
  • Follow protocol and create an action plan to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow all safety guidelines in compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, state and federal DOT standards.
  • Log and input all work, inspections and other maintenance data.
  • Assist coworkers as necessary.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work space.
    Employee Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Background in automotive/truck & bus industry maintenance
    • Experience with industry standard tools and equipment
    • ASE certification, class B CDL, EPA 608 certification desired
    • Basic computer skills
    • Clear communication skills
    • Desire to learn and adapt to new situations as needed.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
      • Starting wages at $32. Additional pay incentives for ASE certifications and CDL License
        • Employees will be required to complete pre-employment drug screen and background check, including employment references.
