Day Shift- 7:30am-4:00pm with On-Call requirements
*The Cath Lab at Elliot Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility offering advanced cardiovascular care and treatments. Our highly trained staff of doctors, nurses, technicians, and therapists provides the highest quality care for our patients. The lab offers comprehensive diagnostic services using the latest technology including cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, CT scans, MRI scans, and nuclear imaging. We also specialize in interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, arrhythmia treatment, ventricular assist devices, and valve repair or replacement.

As an Invasive Cardiology Tech in our Cardiology Cath Lab, you will perform technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist physicians in performing invasive cardiovascular procedures. You will follow the standards set forth by the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions under the direction of the Cardiovascular Services Clinical Nurse Manager and Medical Director.

Support various cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac device implantation, electrophysiology studies, transesophageal echocardiograms, and electrical cardioversions.
Perform emergency procedures such as IABP insertion and temporary pacemaker insertion.
Operate hemodynamic monitoring and recording systems to ensure accurate analysis of cardiovascular functions.
Utilize technical equipment in the cardiac cath lab, including imaging systems and cath lab tables.
Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology certification program or minimum of Applied Science Associates degree or Associates degree in radiology technology.
Minimum of two (2) years of cardiac Cath lab or interventional radiology experience.
Professional Certification from an accredited certifying body in radiology or cardiology including but not limited to: RCIS, RTR or ARRT.
Ability to advance basic computer skills as the health system adds new systems or performs upgrades to existing systems.
