Conduct legal research and provide assistance with the preparation of complex written projects for immigration cases. Prepare legal memoranda and/or legal briefs. Analyze facts, patterns and complex legal issues to provide sound legal advice in immigration related issues. Provide temporary support and leadership to assigned team. Assist with the maintenance of case work quality and consistency on the assigned team. Evaluate cases and assist in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues. Guide client and employees through processes. Liaise with other attorneys or departments in the firm on projects. May telecommute.QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Employer will accept a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school and 24 months of experience in the job offered or a lawyer related occupation. Must be licensed to practice law in the US.WORKING CONDITIONS:
    • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
    • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
    • Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
    • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
    • Regular and on-time attendance.
    • Must be able to prioritize, schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
    • A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
    • Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
    • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.Note: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
