Job Description:
A company is looking for a Physician Coder III specializing in
Plastic Surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and accurately code professional Plastic Surgery cases to
maximize reimbursement
Meet daily production and quality goals, maintaining a 95% accuracy
rate
Stay current on coding guidelines and participate in education
meetings
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree
preferred
Active certification from an AHIMA or AAPC-certified program (CPC
or CCS-P required)
Minimum of 3 years of recent physician coding experience in Plastic
Surgery
Proficient knowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
Experience with electronic healthcare record systems and Microsoft
Office Suite
