Job Profile
The bank is looking for an Issues Management who will primarily focus on the quality management workstream which includes activities such as quality assurance reviews, issue defect monitoring, analysis and reporting on quality management trends and themes, and partnering with issue stakeholders to determine actions required to drive improvements in program execution.
Be expected to take ownership of the quality management workstream, will need to think and work independently, and will also be expected to lead senior advisors supporting quality management.
Partner and collaborate with Business Line team members, 1st Line Risk Advisors, 2nd Line Risk and Compliance Partners, Audit Services, and Regulators as needed.
Education Level

• High Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance, or Accounting.
  
• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Finance or Accounting.

    Duties/Responsibilities
    
    • 
      
    • Business Support - Provides support for business programs, initiatives, and leaders. Serves as a consultant on risk best practices, processes, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates reporting and interdepartmental collaboration.
      
    • Risk Management Proficiency - Maintains a strong knowledge of risk management developments or changes within the organization, industry, and market. Develops active relationships within professional networks to stay current on emerging issues and regulatory requirements. Communicates risk vision and regulatory requirements to applicable stakeholders, including less experienced associates in the workgroup.
      
    • Risk Oversight/Monitoring - Provides objective oversight of risks through an effective challenge using defined methodologies and subject matter expertise. Provides leadership, consultation, and support for risk management. Fosters business unit relationships and implements training to promote engagement in risk management programs, including compliance with all risk policies and standards. May assist with presentations, workshops, and other materials as necessary to communicate risk management tactics. May guide less experienced associates in the department.
